Jackie O cardigan

This cardigan have been sitting in my living room for over a week waiting for the button, at the end I just go with the cover button since I can't find any interesting button at any store. I knit this cardigan as I go along, it turn out quite O.K. except a few thing I wish I done it differently like wider the collar and the shoulder. It is a bit tight on the shoulder if I wear a thicker shirt under it, anyway is too late to alter it right now. I definitely will knit another one, but this time I gonna use wool instead of acrylic yarn, cos acrylic yarn tend to be a bit more stiff.

Beside, I have start on Apocalypse Hoodies by Ysolda. I'm been trying to do the figure-8 cast on last nite but not sure I do it right or not?? still have a doubt on it..may be I should re-do it again..it doesn't look right to me..

Cute, cute! Love the buttons, and I love the purple color of your apocalypse hoodie.

that cardigan is great! great idea for buttons -- they are great! so, it is a stand up collar (double thickness?) no a folded over turtle neck? i would love some pattern notes/general "starting points" if you wouldn't mind sharing!!
