F.O.
Just complete this bolero last night, is a simply bolero. It turn out quite o.k, except the arm part is a bit too tight, hopefully after a few wash will be loosen out. I knit this bolero from top down raglan style and make the sleeve slightly bell shape. The yarn that I used is from Handpaintedyarn.com, is a very beautiful yarns in heavy worsted weight, but the down side is the handspun yarn come in thick and thin (very obvious in every skein), it turn out my bell sleeve one are bigger bell than the other, I have to re-do the whole sleeve in different sts just to get it look the same. Beside, the yarns also is a bit too warm for the weather here, I guess I only got to wear it when I go on holiday.
Yarn : Handpaintedyarn.com
Yardage : 4 skein (about 540 yard)
Gauge : 5.5 mm needle
While waiting for my new yarn to arrive, I have test knit Lady Eleanor from the Scarfstyle. I knit the shawl from the yarn that Angela send to me, Noro Kureyon. This is the first time I knit in Noro yarn and I love it!! I cant stop knitting it once I start, the change of colour is so exciting and sort of keep me going..and going. It turn out I finish the whole skein, but I have a doubt on the size..is too wide and I used 5.5mm needle, the sts look a bit loose. I think I might take it out, decrease two more square and stick to 5 mm needle that the yarns call for.

Knit..
I brought some yarns from handpaintedyarn.com couple month ago for turtleneck shrug from Scrafstyle, it turn out I order the wrong yarn,is too thick for that particular design. But the colourway (mystery purple) is too nice to put aside, so I turn it into a bolero. It's quite a simple and straight forward bolero with no sewing needed. Here it the progress, it should have been finish last week if I never made the mistake on the sleeve..
I have found some really chuncky wool in one of the LYS few days ago, Bigga by Sidar, it used 15mm needle ..my husband called it killer needle. It is so fun to knit and quick as well, look at how far its get after two hour knitting...I should able to finish this giant tote bag by this evening. Thanks to my one skein pal from German,Claudia, she have send me a really lovely handmade linen shawl .. a note book and a bag of gummy treats. Thanks Claudia, I really love the shawl and all others yarn that you send me.

Lucky found
I was home early yesterday evening, planing to do some gardening, maybe sowing some Shamrock seed that I brought from Ireland to test whether it will grow in here. Just before I sow the seed, to my surprise I found this...
sitting in one of the abandon pot, it look like Shamrock!!When I show my husband, he have a hard time believe it, cos Shamrock just wouldn't survive in this climate, is too hot here to cultivate the plants. He even think I 'm stupid to brought the seed when we were in Ireland..but to him(Irish) Shamrock is a lucky sign, so he insist than the plant shouldn't be remove..I do have a doubt this is the real Shamrock, it might be just a distance spiece from Shamrock.

Sunday treats
I have a love, hate feeling about Sunday, I love it because I feel relax ( I can wake up late!!)and can do what I want like crafting, gardening, or cooking... but in the same time I feel that time is too short, I don't got to finish what I do, I only got to choose one thing ..!! so I decided to bake myself some cupcake this week, since I couldn't find a good cupcake bakery in town..I make a very simple cupcake with dried cranberries and grated lemon peel, and buttercream topping...it look so tempating and delicious but..awwww...the buttercream are so sweet, is like eat pure sugar..I don't think I would fancy any cake on the next Sunday !!!
Also, I been trying to give my blog a new look, I want it look more simple and clean. However, when come to coding system, I'm a real dummy, I have no ideas when it mean or how the code works..I have to sign-up another blog for test..god, I still confuse looking at the code after 2 week of trying. So, please leave a note or comment to me if you have a hard time loading the pages or any other suggestion.

First felt..
I always amaze by the craft of felting, after searching and getting some tips from my swap pal carolyne, I decided to try it out. The process of felting the wool are really fun, but as a first timer, I have make a lot of mistake ..I used cold soapy water instead of hot soapy water, I forgot to make the felt large than the actual size..and etc.. The felt piece that I wanted to make is suppose to be a make-up pouch, but it turn out like a coin pouch...This is the my original idea of pouch..however ..
it become like this...I forgot to included the wing at the other side.. and the shape of the bird is totally wrong, my husband thought is a fish ?!! look at it, the first layer of the wool doesn't blend too well with others.. I still have a doubt whether I should continue sew it the zipper or not.. it look horrible..

It fit both of my nieces, 7 years old and 5 years old, aren't they cute??
sorry, the picture is a bit blurrr!!Yarn : Manos Del Uruguay - Stria Cotton
Yardages : 226 yards about (2 skein)
